Nestled in a calm street is our home. With beautiful Oak hardwood floors, lush green front and backyards, and a spacious layout, this house feels like home the minute we walk in after a tiring day. This was our first house, and everything in it has a personal touch, from flower trees to black accents to complement the Oak wood floors, making the house look like a cozy Scandinavian chalet.

We love our kitchen with views! On summer nights, jasmine flowers make the view so pretty and smell amazing, and in winter, the orange tree makes it look perfect. The house’s layout with the large family room was where we hosted so many of our friends and family, and we will miss those times.

My wife is big into gardening, and every single plant in our house has a unique color and type of flower, perfectly complementing each other. Guess what? Our backyard turns so colorful in summer that we even hosted four baby showers for our friends in the last two years!

We moved into this house during COVID times and were initially apprehensive about the neighbors, but within a month, we realized how lucky we were to land here! Over the last 4 years, our neighbors have become our extended family, always looking out for us and always welcoming to a point where our neighbors have a key to our home in case we need something when we are away. Our neighbors out front are so sweet that they bake gluten-free breads and cakes for us every holiday, keeping our dietary restrictions in mind. Our next door neighbors and we had many joint cooking experiences where we taught them Indian recipes, and she taught us Chinese recipes!

This neighborhood is ideal for young families. So many of our neighbors had their first or second kids less than 2 years ago. Holiday times are so much fun with every one of our neighbors finding new creative ways to light up their houses, and we almost go through 5 big candy bags on Halloween tricks treating.

The location of this house is perfect whether you’re commuting to Santa Clara or San Francisco. All three main airports are only a 30-minute drive away, and it is closer to many big company locations, such as Meta, Tesla, Seagate, and Google.

Coming to the city of Newark. It’s a small city, but that’s where its advantages lie! From a well-equipped library to all the major grocery giants like Costco Safeway, whole Foods or Sprouts are only 10 minutes away. The city also has a giant AMC for entertainment. The best part is that every year, the park opposite the AMC hosts a big fair with fun rides and amazing food stalls!

Overall, we already miss the area, our sweet neighbors, and, of course, our Scandinavian chalet. We hope this house continues to spread joy to its new owner!
