Monticello Academy is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and is a National Association of Independent Schools member. The school offers a college preparatory curriculum with a student-teacher ratio of 11:1. Its mascot is the Mustang, and its colors are green and gold. The Monticello Mustangs compete in the Santa Clara Valley Athletic League.
