The International School of the Peninsula (ISTP) in Palo Alto, CA is an independent, co-educational day school offering bilingual English and Mandarin Chinese programs for Kindergarten through 8th-grade students. The mission of ISTP is to “help our students develop the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values that enable them to become confident, contributing global citizens.” The school opened its doors in September 1995 with just 14 students enrolled in Kindergarten and 1st grade.
